JFA Purple Orange is a social-profit organisation working to create a world where people who live with disability get a fair go at everything life has to offer.
Much of our work focuses on supporting people living with disability to find mutual support from peers, find their voice, build their personal vision, and grow as leaders.
As a result of NDIS ILC program funding, we have the following positions available we are seeking to fill in early 2021.

Team Leader (Peer Networks and Capacity Building)
The Team Leader, Peer Networks and Capacity-Building will lead a team of project staff to support the delivery of capacity-building initiatives including peer networks and workshops. The successful candidate will have a values base deeply rooted in advancing the life chances of people living with disability, together with systems management and financial oversight experience. This role is offered on a full-time basis for 2 years.

Project Leader (Enabled Youth Disability Network)
The Project Leader, EYDN, will undertake project coordination for all activities associated with EYDN’s Youth Connection and Capacity Building in SA Project, including peer networks, mentoring and communication activities.
The successful candidate will have experience delivering projects, monitoring budgets and working with young people living with disability to build their confidence, capacity and leadership. This role is offered at 0.6 FTE for 2 years.

Project Officer (Strengthening Knowledge, Information, Linkages and Leadership - SKILL)
The Project Officer, SKILL, will support the Project Leader in the coordination and delivery of capacity building initiatives, including workshops and peer networks with a particular focus on people living with disability from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
The successful candidate will have experience delivering training or workshops (or be willing to learn) and highly developed skills in cultural awareness. This role is offered at 0.5 FTE until 30 June 2023.

Project Officer (Disability Elders of All Ages - DEAA)
The Project Officer, DEAA, will support the Project Leader in the coordination and delivery of capacity building initiatives, including regional workshops and a needs analysis both with a focus on assistive and mainstream technology.
We are seeking a Project Officer currently living in regional or rural South Australia who is willing and able to travel to deliver workshops and who is passionate about working with people living with physical and sensory disability to build their confidence, capacity and leadership. This role offered at 0.5 FTE for 2 years.

Communications Officer (Enabled Youth Disability Network - EYDN)
The Communications Officer, EYDN, will work with EYDN’s Project Leader and Administration Officer to implement a communication plan aimed at promoting EYDN’s work and growing its membership base.
The successful candidate will have experience implementing campaigns across different platforms (social media, websites) and is passionate about showcasing the voices of young people living with disability. This role is offered at 0.5 FTE for 2 years.
