We use the term Capacity Building because it is a much clearer and measurable statement about what we do.
Our approach to capacity building includes the following elements:
Every capacity building program we run begins with attention to underlying values, with the goal that each participant develops an emotional connection with those underlying values. It is only with this emotional connection (what we call ‘felt values’) that agency/individual practice and habits will evolve.
We design our capacity-building so that participants can take immediate steps to evolve their practice.
We structure our capacity-building opportunities so that participants access material, try it out in practice, and then reflect.
